Sherweb appoints Laura Holdright as VP of Security and Compliance

Sherweb, an award-winning cloud marketplace leader, recently announced the promotion of Laura Holdright to the position of Vice President of Security and Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC).

This appointment demonstrates and reinforces Sherweb’s ongoing commitment to the safety of employees, partners and customers across the company’s business lines and operations. As the security landscape continue to evolve, Laura’s background conducting comprehensive operational reviews and audits to improve risk and compliance policies and processes, organizational practices and defined procedures represents another layer of protection against cybercrime.

Laura has previously worked in IT companies such as BlackBerry, and both US and Canadian start-ups. She holds an LLM in business law specializing in privacy and regulatory compliance.
