VisualVault to Showcase Healthcare Solutions at HIMSS

VisualVault, a leading provider of digital information and patient data management solutions, will be exhibiting at the HIMSS Global Health Conference & Exposition, March 9-12 at the Venetian Expo Center in Las Vegas, NV. VisualVault’s presence will be based within the Carahsoft Pavilion, booth 6424.

VisualVault will be presenting a breadth of interconnected data and document management solutions that are critical to the flow and maintenance of important healthcare data that is left unmanaged by EHR platforms. These solutions include Patient Intake, AI-Enabled Document Workflow, Legacy Data Archive (LDA), AR Workdown and Release of Information (ROI).

While VisualVault has delivered a range of digital content management solutions to a blue chip roster of healthcare clients over the past decade, the breadth of solutions continues to expand and encompass data management across the full lifecycle of patient records. VisualVault CEO, Avner Schneur explains the evolution of the VisualVault healthcare strategy by saying, “The complexity and breadth of the healthcare data ecosystem is unmanageable within a single platform. Vast opportunity exists for a solution like VisualVault to gather, manage and report upon the data and processes that are not covered by EHR platforms.”

The approach to the market that Schneur describes is demonstrated by two solutions that essentially bookend the lifecycle of a patient record. The newest VisualVault solution, Digital Patient Intake, employs a user-friendly, app-like mobile interface to streamline the gathering of new patient data and the auto-indexing of those forms and data in preparation for downstream workflows. This new patient data management solution sits in contrast to the Legacy Data Archive (LDA) solution that expertly migrates legacy patient data from retired EHRs and manages the long-term archiving, retention and compliance associated with those patient records.

While the Digital Patient Intake and LDA solutions address initial creation and management of data near the end of the patient data lifecycle, multiple other solutions assist healthcare providers with ongoing operational procedures such as managing patient financial data and ongoing, secure Release of Information (ROI) services.
