BSIM Adopts Innovaccer AI Agents to Streamline Clinical Workflows

The three-part expansion will bring Provider Copilot, Gravity’s Agentic AI Access Center, and Flow Auth to BSIM, enhancing patient access, automating prior authorizations, and reducing administrative burden.

Innovaccer Inc., a leading healthcare AI company, today announced that BSIM Healthcare Services, a Washington, DC-based provider group, will implement Provider Copilot with Pre-Visit Summary, Ambient Scribing, Gravity’s Agentic AI Access Center, and Flow Auth for prior authorization automation. These additions follow successful deployments of Innovaccer’s Gravity Platform and value-based care solutions.

The implementation addresses administrative challenges across multiple touchpoints in the care journey. Provider Copilot brings AI-powered intelligence directly into care delivery, with Pre-Visit Summary delivering concise patient insights before each encounter to support informed decision-making and proactive care planning. The solution’s Ambient Scribing capability automates clinical documentation by capturing and structuring provider-patient conversations in real time, reducing documentation burden while maintaining focus on patient interaction.

On the patient access front, Gravity, Innovaccer’s Agentic AI Access Center, will modernize how BSIM engages patients from the first touchpoint. Its omnichannel AI agents support voice, web, and SMS interactions 24/7, enabling patients to instantly schedule appointments, check eligibility, and resolve common inquiries. For live calls, Comet’s AI Copilot provides real-time guidance, next-best actions, referral and insurance verification, and auto-documentation. A unified agent workspace combines scheduling rules, EHR context, telephony tools, and knowledge resources to simplify workflows, while automated intake and end-to-end referral pathways enable reduced leakage and delays. Together, these capabilities are expected to improve access speed, scheduling accuracy, and overall patient experience at BSIM.

“This partnership is about creating more time for care by removing the manual tasks that pull clinicians and staff away from patients,” said Abhinav Shashank, Co-founder and CEO, Innovaccer. “BSIM’s progressive approach to adopting Innovaccer’s AI-powered solutions demonstrates how healthcare organizations can build a connected foundation that supports both operational excellence and better patient outcomes.”

Building on this foundation, BSIM will implement Innovaccer’s Flow Auth to automate prior authorization workflows by integrating directly into the EHR via a SMART-on-FHIR application. The solution uses AI agents to perform eligibility verification, apply payer rule checks, and prepare documentation before submission, compiling required information into ready-to-submit packets and verifying requests against the latest medical necessity criteria to reduce manual steps and accelerate approval timelines.

The bi-directional EMR integration will ensure seamless data flow between BSIM’s existing systems and Innovaccer’s solutions, enabling real-time updates and eliminating duplicate data entry.

As BSIM integrates these capabilities, both organizations anticipate measurable improvements in operational efficiency, clinician satisfaction, and patient access to care.
