Assent names Tony Farinaro as Chief Revenue Officer

Industry expert joins leadership team to accelerate company’s revenue growth and maximize customer value

Assent Inc. (Assent), a leading solution provider in supply chain sustainability management, announced today Tony Farinaro as Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and member of the company’s leadership team. Farinaro will lead Assent’s global sales, revenue operations and enablement, regulatory and sustainability teams that work with Assent clients to deploy product compliance and ESG solutions through the industry-leading Assent Supply Chain Sustainability Platform.

Based in New Jersey, Farinaro brings almost 40 years of leadership experience in sales, marketing, and engineering services to Assent. Most recently, he served as CRO of Exostar, a secure collaboration and risk management software and solution provider for enterprises and their suppliers and trading partners across the aerospace and defense, life sciences and healthcare sectors. Prior to that, he held senior sales and services leadership positions at Digital.AI, CollabNet, and Actel, where he led the sales of enterprise software and the design of complex technology products for customers in the manufacturing and IT industries.

“Tony has an incredible track record of success in our key markets with a breadth of experience driving digital transformation,” said Andrew Waitman, Assent CEO. “We continue to see that manufacturers are facing significant pressure from evolving regulations that require unprecedented visibility into their supply chains. Tony’s impressive leadership experience will enable us to accelerate the awareness and adoption of supply chain sustainability management at such a critical time. Together we will continue to strengthen our leading market position, deliver exceptional value to our customers and fuel our company’s next stage of growth.”

The hire comes at a key point in time for Assent. The company’s PFAS solution is experiencing rapid industry adoption as regulatory pressures to identify PFAS from supply chains continue.

“This is an exciting time to join Assent’s leadership team as the company has a significant opportunity to grow its market share given the increasing need for supply chain sustainability solutions,” said Farinaro. “I look forward to working with the purpose-driven team at Assent to help more manufacturers proactively address supply chain risks and create a long-term competitive advantage.”

As the demand for proactive compliance grows to ensure complex manufacturers retain market access and mitigate risks, Assent is continuing to innovate and expand its partnerships. It now serves over 750 manufacturers globally through its supply chain sustainability solutions.
