U.S. federal agencies can now secure their users and data with cloud-native zero trust access management

Starting in 2022, the Office of Management and Budget Memorandum (OMB) issued M-22-09 which provides guidance for Zero Trust best practices and mandates requirements that federal agencies must meet. More recently, in January 2025, Executive Order 14028, issued by the White House, mandates that federal agencies and their partners must use “phishing-resistant multi-factor authentication” (MFA) to significantly improve cybersecurity. Beyond Identity’s solutions for government answer both of these mandates with cloud-based Identity, Credential, and Access Management (ICAM) and Customer Identity Access Management (CIAM) capabilities that include universal phishing-resistant MFA, continuous risk-based authentication, continuous device security compliance, secure SSO, and identity-based AI defense.
