Biosero Wins Innovation Award for Product of the Year

Biosero, Inc., developer of laboratory automation solutions to orchestrate scientific discoveries, announced that its Acceleration Lab has been named a winner of the 2022 Sales and Marketing Technology Awards from the Business Intelligence Group. The awards, known as “The Sammys,” honor organizations and products helping to solve the challenges organizations have connecting and collaborating with prospects and customers.

Biosero’s Acceleration Lab was named Product of the Year for a company with fewer than 100 employees. The San Diego-based lab is a proving ground for lab automation technology, offering a real-world laboratory environment where prospective customers can see how Biosero’s automation software works with the kinds of instruments and workflows they use. Lab tours showcase tough-to-explain concepts such as remote management, mobile robotics, multi-workcell integration, low-code/no-code workflow design, data integration, environment monitoring, and order management.

“Building the Acceleration Lab represented a major investment for Biosero, and it has become a tremendous asset for our team in delivering custom-tailored demonstrations, offering virtual tours for those who can’t come in person, and testing new products,” said Tom Gilman, CEO of Biosero. “The Acceleration Lab allows users to see their automation ideas come to life, and we are honored that it was recognized with a Sammy award.”

The Business Intelligence Group’s awards are judged by business executives with experience and knowledge, and a unique scoring system is used to selectively measure performance across multiple business domains and reward the companies whose achievements stand out from their peers.

“We are proud to reward and recognize Biosero for their innovation and dedication to helping both the organization using their technology and the ultimate consumer,” said Maria Jimenez, Chief Nominations Officer, Business Intelligence Group. “It was clear to our judges that their efforts will improve how we all connect with the brands we love for years to come.”

Since its launch in 2019, the Biosero Acceleration Lab has received hundreds of visitors, with new virtual and in-person tours scheduled regularly. Biosero is now building Acceleration Labs in Japan, Germany, and Boston to make automation strategy tools more accessible to these scientific communities.
