DataHub Adds Execs to Scale AI Data Context Platform

The company welcomes seasoned leaders in finance, technology, partnerships, and support to drive growth in the AI and data context management market

DataHub, the leading open source context platform, announced today the addition of four seasoned executives to its leadership team: Reed Birnbaum as Chief Financial Officer; Stephen Goldbaum as Field CTO, Financial Services; Amy Deora as Vice President of Partnerships and Alliances, and Angelo Bresci as Senior Director of Technical Support. These appointments will strengthen DataHub’s financial strategy and management, deepen its technical leadership in financial services, expand its partner ecosystem, and enhance enterprise-grade support as the company scales to meet accelerating global demand.

The news follows DataHub’s $35 million Series B funding round, led by Bessemer Venture Partners, to accelerate development of its AI and data context management platform and expand go-to-market operations.

Reed Birnbaum â€“ Chief Financial Officer

As CFO, Birnbaum will guide DataHub’s financial strategy and operational discipline as the company scales globally. He brings over 25 years of finance leadership experience across private and public companies. Most recently, Birnbaum served as Interim Chief Financial Officer at Sirona Medical, Inc., where he helped lead the company’s successful $45M Series C financing. Prior to that, he was Chief Financial Officer at RMS, where he facilitated the company’s $2B sale to Moody’s. Earlier in his career, Birnbaum held senior finance roles at Intermolecular, Better Place, BigBand Networks, and Cellon. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting/Business from California State University, Fresno.

Stephen Goldbaum â€“ Field CTO, Financial Services

As Field CTO, Financial Services, Goldbaum will deepen DataHub’s engagement with financial services enterprises, helping to drive strategies for AI readiness, governance, and scalability. He brings more than two decades of experience in financial technology innovation, including over 15 years at Morgan Stanley, where he held various technology leadership roles, most recently as a Distinguished Engineer, in data management, architecture, cloud adoption, and developer productivity. Goldbaum was an open source pioneer in the financial industry through his work with FINOS, The Linux Foundation, and Morphir. He holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from NYU and a Bachelor of Music.

Amy Deora â€“ Vice President, Partnerships and Alliances

As VP of Partnerships and Alliances, Deora will expand DataHub’s partner ecosystem to accelerate the adoption and integration of its context platform across enterprises. She brings nearly 20 years of experience in strategic partnerships, data analytics, and data science. Most recently, she has focused on scaling go-to-market and product partnerships for leading SaaS companies, serving as Head of Partnerships at AssemblyAI and VP of Partnerships and Alliances at dbt Labs. Earlier in her career, she led analytics practices at Civis Analytics and Summit Consulting. Deora holds a Master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning from MIT.

Angelo Bresci â€“ Senior Director of Technical Support

As Senior Director of Technical Support, Bresci will lead DataHub’s support and customer-centric engineering operations, ensuring enterprise customers receive exceptional service as they deploy and scale the platform. Most recently, he served as Senior Director of Support Engineering for Domino Data Lab, where he scaled a globally distributed team, led the transition from on-premise to SaaS support, and launched effective self-service solutions, resulting in significant improvements in customer satisfaction as well as reduced costs. Previously, he spent a decade at TIBCO Jaspersoft, culminating as Senior Director of Technical Support, after holding leadership roles at GT Nexus and MuleSoft. Bresci holds a Bachelor of Arts from UCLA.

Driving Growth in the AI and Data Context Management Era
