High growth driven by demand for award-winning technology codified with OT-specific threat intelligence to secure global industrial and critical infrastructure
Dragos Inc., the global leader in cybersecurity for operational technology (OT) environments, today announced it was named to the Deloitte Technology Fast 500™, a ranking of the 500 fastest-growing technology, media, telecommunications, life sciences, fintech, and energy tech companies in North America for the third consecutive year. Dragos grew more than 535% between 2019 and 2022.
Dragos’s strong revenue growth underscores the increasing necessity for OT cybersecurity as governments and infrastructure providers recognize the importance of protecting industrial infrastructure from cyber threats. The market-leading Dragos Platform is codified with OT-specific threat intelligence and insights from the industry’s largest team of ICS/OT practitioners. The Dragos Platform provides visibility into assets and vulnerabilities, detects cyber threats to industrial systems, and enables efficient response through forensic investigation and OT-specific playbooks.
“It’s an honor to be recognized by Deloitte for being one of the fastest-growing companies in North America for three years in a row,” said Darren Sankbeil, Chief Financial Officer, Dragos. “The number and sophistication of cyberattacks that specifically target critical infrastructure is at an all-time high and asset owners and operators need visibility into their OT assets more than ever. Our growth is aimed at meeting the needs of the industrial infrastructure community at a global scale.”
As industrial organizations around the globe pursue digital transformation initiatives, threat groups increasingly target OT environments. Dragos’s community-focused approach provides access to the largest array of industrial organizations participating in collective defense, with the broadest visibility available to protect industrial assets.
The Deloitte Technology Fast 500 recognition caps a number of other key milestones for the company this year. In September, Dragos announced $74 million in a Series D extension bringing the Series D round to $274 million, with funds raised to date totaling approximately $440 million. In July, Dragos entered into a partnership with Macnica to deliver OT cybersecurity to critical infrastructure and manufacturing control systems in Japan and in August signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Singapore to strengthen Singapore’s OT cybersecurity capabilities. Additionally, the SC Awards program named Dragos as Most Promising Unicorn, and the Dragos Platform was awarded Best Industrial Security Solution. In the SC Awards Europe, Dragos was named Best Incident Response Solution
