eClinical Solutions announced key achievements from 2023

In its 11th year, eClinical Solutions continued to provide future-ready data solutions for large, mid-size, and emerging life sciences organizations accelerating research

eClinical Solutions, a global provider of digital clinical software and services, today announced key achievements from 2023 that expand the company’s market position and demonstrate its ability to support the most complex clinical trials, helping clients drive tomorrow’s breakthroughs. Notably, in 2023 the company added over 20 new clients to its growing portfolio – which now includes 16 of the Top 50 pharmaceutical companies – and zeroed in on supporting adoption of AI and ML-driven efficiencies.

Over the course of three product releases in 2023, the depth of the elluminate platform was enhanced by new capabilities deployed within the Statistical Computing Environment (SCE) and Data Central’s elluminate IQ Review (eIQ Review), the embedded AI models of that clinical data workbench. eClinical Solutions was recognized as a leader in the inaugural Life Sciences Clinical Data and Analytics Platforms PEAK Matrix® Assessment 2023, ranking highest among all 14 listed platform providers in vision & capability, which measures ability to deliver product successfully. The honor underscores eClinical’s achievement in creating and leading the data infrastructure and analytics industry category.

“The past year affirmed our commitment to client excellence, innovation, and cycle time efficiency through AI-powered data products and biometrics services. We have continued to anticipate the needs of our clients and partners, delivering new products and enhancements that unlock data value, modernize data infrastructure and bring treatments to patients faster,” said Raj Indupuri, CEO and co-founder of eClinical Solutions. “Our growth is not only about extending our reach, but also deepening the impact, value and ROI we deliver. We are energized by the possibilities of the year ahead.”

Key highlights from 2023 include:

  • Meeting demand for tech investment outcomes: As the vast majority of life science leaders look to prioritize AI in 2024, enabling drug development teams to leverage automation and AI/ML capabilities is the cornerstone of a more efficient, scalable approach to clinical data. With eIQ Review, data stakeholders gain actionable insights and enhance collaboration by leveraging advanced techniques and analytics in a centralized source of truth with a unified interface. Recently released is eIQ Orchestrator, a new addition to the platform designed to streamline data management with a user-friendly interface that enables rules for auto-opening and closing of issues and queries.
  • Building a roster of world-class clients: In 2023, eClinical Solutions secured more than 20 new clients and broadened relationships with others, including elluminate platform clients adopting Clinical Biometrics Services and eClinical’s Functional Service Provider (FSP) offering, for enhanced productivity. Many of these clients convened in November for the 5th annual Engage user conference to share their experiences in clinical data strategy and tech adoption.
  • Strengthening synergies: From technology collaborations with Snowflake and AWS, to expanded elluminate utilization by leading Contract Research Organizations (CROs), partnering with like-minded organizations fueled continued transformation. As of year-end, 20% of the elluminate user base are CRO users – enabling even more sponsors to access elluminate’s trusted insights across studies via their CROs.

Additionally, eClinical Solutions welcomed new team members globally in 2023 – with substantial growth across key geographies such as the U.S., U.K. and India – and earned various employer of choice recognition including the Top Workplaces USA 2023 award, Great Place To Work® India Certification™, and five 2023 Top Workplaces Culture Excellence awards for categories including Innovation, Work-Life Flexibility, and Compensation & Benefits, among others. The company also won numerous product awards including the SCDM Innovation Award for Advancements in Health Data Analytics, obtained ISO 27001:2022 and 27701:2019 certification of its Information Security Management System (ISMS) and Privacy Information Management Systems (PIMS) from the International Standards Organization (ISO), and was named to The Gartner 2023 Hype Cycle for Life Science Clinical Development.
