FireMon unveils revamped Ignite Partner Program

New enhancements and educational initiatives promise to strengthen partnerships and customer solutions in network security management.

FireMon, the leading network security policy management (NSPM) company that brings visibility, control, agility, and automation to enterprise cloud and hybrid network infrastructure, today announced its newly revamped FireMon Ignite Partner Program. Based on extensive consultations with partners globally, the enhancements reflect FireMon’s ongoing commitment to delivering a strong and industry-relevant value proposition to our partners as a 100% channel-focused organization.

“Since joining FireMon in July, my priority and focus has been on ensuring FireMon partners understand the value we bring to their business and how we help them solve their customer’s complex business issues,” said Nicole Stavroff, Vice President of Worldwide Channels at FireMon. “We are excited about our FY24 partner program that we officially launched today. We revamped different areas and added a few new things to make it easier and more profitable for our partners to sell FireMon and do business with us. Our continued commitment is to build long-standing relationships with our partners built on trust, mutual respect, and having fun together. Our FY24 Ignite partner program refresh helps to support this commitment.”

One of the new additions this year is FireMon University, a comprehensive enablement curriculum program with both partner sales and SE tracks. Both tracks have different levels of curricula that partners can use to increase their FireMon knowledge and understand how to position FireMon more effectively with their customers. Each level has a foundational certification and subsequent modules that are self-paced, and bite-sized, making it easier for our partners to access and complete our enablement content. It was also important to ensure the content was role specific, impactful and time well spent. Given the time pressures of today’s world, this makes it easier to absorb and complete.

“Additionally, we refreshed our FireMon value proposition messaging to ensure partners understand how we can help their existing customers solve complex issues they are struggling with today by giving them advanced visibility and management of their infrastructures from ground to cloud across the hybrid enterprise,” said Stavroff.

As part of this, we developed new use cases and sales plays to support our ‘Better Together’ strategy with our alliance partners. These use cases have been designed to highlight the combined benefits that FireMon, a value-added reseller, and alliance vendors can bring to a customer’s environment when our technologies are brought together in a single platform.

“We’re excited to witness the evolution of FireMon’s Ignite Partner Program. These enhancements truly highlight their commitment to the firewall management space, enabling us to deliver even greater value to our customers. At GuidePoint Security, we’re dedicated to supporting our customer base in their cybersecurity needs, and robust partner programs like this one play a vital role in achieving that goal.” – Mark Thornberry, SVP Vendor Management, GuidePoint Security

Furthermore, this year FireMon has expanded its account-based focused go-to-market sales strategy, and we have aligned our channel strategy to reflect this focused approach. Together with our partners, we are focusing on target accounts that fit FireMon’s ideal customer profile. As a result, our channel partners and internal sales teams can more effectively position and sell FireMon solutions together.

“We’re very excited about the changes and additions we’ve made to the FireMon Ignite Partner Program. We took all the feedback our partners and distributors gave us globally and tried to incorporate as much as we could. We want our partners to know that we listen to them and value their partnership. Our hope is that they feel our FY24 program is stronger and more relevant than ever before and that our value proposition enables them to make their customers successful,” concluded Stavroff.
