On February, 12th, 2025, the Government of Canada announced $2 million in funding to FluidAI Medical (FluidAI) through the Federal Economic Development Agency for Southern Ontario (FedDev Ontario), as part of a broader investment  aimed at supporting Waterloo Region businesses.
The funding will be used to enhance FluidAI’s manufacturing processes and expedite the commercialization of its advanced postoperative care technologies for global markets. FluidAI’s Streamâ„¢ Care, which integrates state-of-the-art AI algorithms and advanced sensing hardware like Originâ„¢, empowers healthcare professionals to make data-driven decisions that may aid them in improving patient outcomes and shortening hospital stays.
