FunnelAI Brings Automotive Industry Veteran Laura Ryan as COO

FunnelAI, the industry’s first real-time B2B artificial intelligence (AI) based semantic search platform, announced that Laura Ryan has joined the company as chief operating officer (COO). Laura has a 25-year proven track record of leadership and growing industry-leading businesses in automotive. As COO, Laura will be responsible for the development and execution of the strategy that will ensure accelerated growth in all areas of the company with immediate focus on product, sales, and marketing initiatives.

Before joining FunnelAI, Laura led Purdy Mobility as Chief Executive Officer. Purdy Motor Group is a Costa Rica based company with operations in the U.S., including Texas-based franchised dealerships. In this role, Laura was responsible for strategically expanding, broadening, and diversifying Purdy Motors’ operations in the United States.

Laura previously spent 19 years with Gulf States Toyota, Inc., a private distributor for Toyota Motor North America; most recently as Vice President, Market Representation & Dealer Development. In her twenty-five plus years in the automotive industry she has held positions in all aspects of the business which have provided her valuable knowledge and experience in the industry.

Laura has held state-level public service roles for the past nine years. Currently, she serves on the Texas Transportation Commission (TxDOT) as one of five commissioners appointed by Governor Greg Abbott. Prior to this, she was appointed TX Department of Motor Vehicle Board (TxDMV), representing the vehicle manufacturing/distribution industry, where she served as Chairman.

Laura attended Penn State University and is an avid learner and a student of both business and leadership.
