Hai Robotics has marked another significant growth milestone for its U.S. branch with the addition of Hunter Senn as Director of Sales for the North American market.
As Hai Robotics expands worldwide, the leading global provider of intelligent warehouse robotics and automated storage and retrieval systems (ASRS) remains dedicated to deepening its investment in the U.S. by continuing to build a team of world-class talent within the U.S. Senn brings with him over seven years of experience in material handling and logistics automation, positioning him as a valuable player to further propel Hai Robotics’ rapid upward trajectory in the Americas.
Senn comes to Hai Robotics after serving over five years at a globally recognized warehouse automation and solutions integrator where he guided customers through large-scale automation projects — from solution development and design to contract execution and implementation. Throughout the implementation process, he ensured the highest level of customer satisfaction and solution quality.
Prior to that, Senn played a key role in generating sales and opportunities for warehouse management and integrated automation systems within the logistics, warehousing and distribution industries.
Senn’s comprehensive knowledge of the industry and track record of successful projects make him a formidable addition to the Hai Robotics team.
When asked about his vision for the future, Senn said: “I’m extremely optimistic about what lies ahead. Witnessing the transformative power of our advanced autonomous case-handling robots (ACRs) firsthand has shown me that we can surpass our customers’ expectations in a multitude of industries.”
“In an ever-evolving world, our ability to adapt and enhance operational efficiency, accuracy and storage density while meeting the unique needs of each customer sets us apart,” Senn added.
Brian Reinhart, Chief Revenue Officer at Hai Robotics, expressed his excitement, saying, “Hunter’s experience in the industry, expertise in all things automation, and natural talent are a welcomed addition to our growing business. His focus and prioritization on customers and teammates will fit in perfectly with the culture we’ve established, and I look forward to supporting him as he leads our sales efforts, customer success, account management and partner management now and into the future.”
Hai Robotics ACRs are the core equipment that operates the company’s ASRS solutions. These robots are independent of any storage medium, meaning they free facilities of the rigid constructs of shuttle or grid-based systems and the high costs of their required unique, high-precision storage structures and containers.
ACRs are intelligent enough to manage ASRS created from structures readily available on the market. Facilities can utilize almost any industry standard shelving or racking structure that provides ideal density and use of vertical space, use most sizes of bins, trays, or cardboard cartons that fit the needs of their product, and design a system that provides amplified workflow speed, accuracy and efficiency.
ACRs manage the storage and retrieval of goods in vertical space 5x higher than standard AMR technologies, up to 10m (32+ feet high.) They provide the unique combined advantages of the system flexibility typically seen with AMR or AGV technology while allowing facilities to obtain modern warehouse density with maximum use of vertical storage, and the workflow efficiency and speed gains seen in shuttle or grid-based systems while utilizing industry standard storage material.
By utilizing these robust robots for their ASRS solution, facilities have seen a reduction of storage footprint by 75%, workflow efficiency gains increase by 4x, order pick accuracy of 99.9%, and an increase of daily orders fulfilled by over 170%.
