Hammer Of The Gods launches platform for secure edge computing

Hammer Forge nails the trifecta: Making managing enterprise-level edge computing simple, fast, and secure at scale.

Hammer Of The Gods (HOT-G) launched Hammer Forge, the low-code deployment and orchestration platform for secure edge computing and embedded machine learning.  While there has been an acceleration of cloud developer tools for Machine Learning (ML) and MLOps, Hammer Forge is at the forefront what is only just beginning as the next technology super growth phase:  managing ML for billions of edge devices (e.g., phones, mobile browsers, Coral.ai, Jetson Nano, Raspberry Pi, IoT devices, and sensors).

Analysts estimate¹ that the edge computing market has a CAGR of more than 19% and is expected to be $87.3 billion USD by 2026. The fragmentation in this market means that engineering teams have to support many types of devices and ML frameworks. HOT-G is making the developer experience (DX) consistent from building all the way to managing production deployments while taking security, monitoring, and observability in to account upfront.

For the past year the HOT-G team has been focused on the closed beta of their developer experience tools and have been working with the community of open source devs, students at several prominent hackathons, and early adopters in the areas of:

  • securing edge deployments
  • reliable builds for the edge devices
  • and MLOps for the edge devices

We are at an inflection point where enterprises with sufficient data are now building machine learning models making them their IP. The data will be kept private on their environments, but distributing and safeguarding their IP (models) is still a hard problem. In this regard, Hammer Forge also serves as a licensible cloud native SecOps platform for enterprises to secure, protect, and deploy their IP on devices.
