Healthtech company, Komodo Health Onboards Laurent Bride as CTO

Enterprise Software Industry Veteran Will Scale Komodo’s Next-Generation Healthcare and Life Sciences Platform

Komodo Health today announced that Laurent Bride has been named the company’s Chief Technology Officer (CTO). Bride, an industry veteran with over 20 years of experience building and scaling platforms for hypergrowth technology companies, will be responsible for overseeing Komodo’s data-driven platform and software portfolio.

Passionate about new technologies, data challenges, and fast-growing teams, Bride’s career reflects a focus on growth through product innovation and company transformation. In his most recent role as the CTO at Talend, he built on his track record of success by taking the company public and driving next-generation data platform strategies. He has also held executive roles at multi-billion dollar software firms Business Objects and SAP where he led teams of developers to innovate for new market opportunities. In all of these positions, Bride has excelled at building high performance teams, growing top talent, and developing world-leading technologies: all tasks he will be charged with at Komodo as well.

“I’m honored to welcome Laurent as Komodo Health’s CTO,” said Arif Nathoo, MD, CEO and co-founder of Komodo Health. “Laurent’s industry-leading expertise will help grow our cloud-based enterprise platform, integrating it with Komodo’s Healthcare Map to transform systems of record into systems of insight that will provide faster and more efficient ways to get life-saving therapies to the patients that need them the most.”

Founded in 2014, Komodo Health’s mission is to reduce the global burden of disease. The company’s Healthcare Map™ is the foundation of its enterprise technology platform. The industry’s largest and most complete database of de-identified, real-world patient data, the Healthcare Map uses artificial intelligence and advanced data analytics to track individual encounters with the healthcare system for over 325 million patients. The Healthcare Map draws data from both providers and payers, including hospital and physician networks, healthcare claims processing companies, pharmacies, laboratories and health insurers, including Medicare and Medicaid; it is the only data repository of its kind to provide a longitudinal view of the entire patient journey.

“Komodo is driving healthcare away from fragmented data assets and, instead, building out a platform based on its Healthcare Map advantage to infuse intelligence into our system of care,” said Laurent Bride, CTO, Komodo Health. “This is a vision for the industry that I not only share, but about which I am extremely passionate. I’m thrilled to join Komodo in its bold mission of reducing the burden of disease and I look forward to all we’ll be able to accomplish together.”

Bride holds a master’s degree from the École Internationale des Sciences du Traitement de l’Information (EISTI) in France, and brings expertise in business-to-business technology strategy, big data, cloud, and business intelligence.
