New integration eliminates sampling and extends log retention to 15+ months with high-performance, low-cost observability for enterprise Cloudflare users
Hydrolix, the company transforming the economics of log data with its streaming data lake platform, today announced native support for Cloudflare HTTP request logs. This new integration enables joint customers to export raw Cloudflare log data into Hydrolix in real time – without sampling – unlocking advanced querying, live dashboards and over 15 months of retention at a fraction of the cost of traditional tools.
Existing third-party log management solutions, while suitable for smaller deployments, sample heavily and offer limited retention, making it difficult for enterprise customers to analyze high-volume web traffic in detail. With Hydrolix, customers gain instant visibility into every log event across all their Cloudflare endpoints, enabling faster root cause analysis, better performance optimization and stronger security incident response.
“Cloudflare users don’t just want access to their logs – they need all their data, in real time, at a cost that makes sense,” said Marty Kagan, CEO and co-founder of Hydrolix. “By integrating with Cloudflare’s LogPush and applying our high-compression, low-latency architecture, we’re giving enterprise customers a smarter way to manage traffic visibility without compromising on scale or fidelity.”
Streamline Analysis Across Multi-CDN Environments
The integration supports ingestion of Cloudflare HTTP logs into Hydrolix via a simple LogPush job. Within minutes, users can explore raw, unsampled data using familiar, prebuilt Grafana dashboards or build custom views tailored to their environment. Hydrolix also offers a unified CDN schema, allowing organizations to analyze Cloudflare data alongside other CDN traffic for a holistic view of performance and security across their infrastructure.
Benefits include:
- No sampling: All log data is retained and “hot” (searchable).
- Real-time visibility: Seconds from event to dashboard.
- Extended retention: Access to historical data for over 15 months.
- Operational efficiency: High-density compression dramatically reduces total cost of ownership.
Enterprise-Grade Observability Without the Trade-offs
Large organizations that rely on Cloudflare have long faced a difficult choice: use cold storage (e.g., S3) with long delays and limited analytics, or pay a premium for real-time search in platforms like Splunk. Hydrolix eliminates this trade-off by combining fast ingestion, efficient storage, and indexed search, providing teams with actionable insights without performance bottlenecks or budget overruns.
The new capability is now available to all Hydrolix customers using Cloudflare’s HTTP LogPush service. Support for additional Cloudflare log types is under development, with early access opportunities available for organizations looking to extend visibility further.
