Hyperscience welcomes First Field Chief Technology Officer

Strategic hire brings 25+ years of technical expertise and business acumen to Hyperscience, serving as a conduit between customers, partners, and technology innovation

Hyperscience, a market leader in hyperautomation and a provider of enterprise AI software, today announced the appointment of Brian Weiss as the company’s first-ever Field Chief Technology Officer. Weiss joins the company at a pivotal juncture when the demand for its turnkey enterprise AI software is on the rise. With an impressive 25-year track record, Weiss has consistently served at the forefront of technological innovation. Weiss will work closely with CTO, Tony Lee, who leads the product, machine learning, engineering, and design divisions, while actively engaging with customers, partners, and potential prospects in the field.

“Hyperscience has made great strides since I joined in 2021, and bringing Brian on as our Field CTO will only continue to help improve our impact and drive our growth and success in the market,” said Tony Lee, CTO of Hyperscience. “Today, there is a fundamental technical challenge plaguing the enterprise, where legacy automation tactics fail to deliver meaningful transformation. Hyperscience is uniquely positioned to overthrow this paradigm by bringing machines and humans together, harmoniously. Brian and I will partner closely to ensure we embrace customer feedback for ongoing product enhancements and development, and clearly articulate the fundamental differences between us and legacy alternatives. Having a strong leader of Brian’s caliber in the field will be a game changer for us.”

A long-time technologist, Weiss has held several executive leadership positions throughout his career, developing deep expertise in structured and unstructured data, creating roadmaps for AI and machine learning product innovations. Notably, Weiss served as the VP, Worldwide Head of Chief Field Technologists for Hewlett Packard Enterprise’s Big Data Business Unit, and later as the CTO at HP Software. Most recently, Weiss had a five-year run at InMoment, the leading provider of experience improvement solutions, serving as the SVP of Technology and Services, developing a new approach to natural language processing and sentiment analysis under Andrew Joiner’s leadership.

Joiner, who was appointed CEO of Hyperscience in April 2023, remarked, “We’re excited to welcome Brian as the company’s first-ever Field CTO. Brian brings a proven track record in scaling growth companies and introducing innovative technologies to markets that are ripe for disruption, and he will have a dramatic impact at Hyperscience. He engages deeply with customers to understand their business and strategic direction, and how AI can be applied to deliver better outcomes. He also takes those insights to provide invaluable input into product development and the product roadmap. This is a powerful combination that will positively impact our customers, partners, and Hyperscience.”

As Field CTO, Weiss will focus on nurturing existing customer relationships to create a consistent product feedback loop for Hyperscience’s product and engineering teams, and support the sales process.

“Throughout my career, I’ve always focused on the intersection of humans and machines, and I’m thrilled to have found that convergence again with Hyperscience,” said Brian Weiss, Field CTO of Hyperscience. “The company is driving transformational end-to-end automation by operationalizing AI in the enterprise—accurately, at scale, and with human supervision. I look forward to partnering with Tony to support the product and engineering teams while also being on the ground level to garner customer and prospect feedback critical to refining our roadmap.”
