IDIQ Names Industry Veteran Damian Bushnell Chief Product Officer

Company’s recent growth necessitates new roles and responsibilities for leadership

IDIQ, an industry leader in identity theft and credit report monitoring, has named Damian Bushnell the company’s new chief product officer.

Bushnell first joined IDIQ in 2012 as the senior vice president for product, project and development. Ongoing growth and an aggressive product roadmap have provided new leadership opportunities and roles at IDIQ.

The company offers the IdentityIQ® and MyScoreIQ® brands for identity theft and credit report monitoring and the DataBreachIQ® brand for business data breach preparation and response support. Most recently, Bushnell helped oversee the company’s partnership with Bitdefender® Total Security with Premium VPN to add award-winning internet security software to the IdentityIQ suite of benefits.

For more than two decades, Bushnell has been a technology and product leader in the consumer credit and identity theft protection industry. He began his career supporting mortgage-related products at First American CREDCO. When First American split to form First Advantage and CoreLogic®, Bushnell was named vice president of client management at First Advantage where he managed relationships with top financial institutions. At CoreLogic, he owned the Consumer Services product line and launched the first web-based API delivery platform in the consumer credit industry to deliver credit scores and credit report monitoring products to 19 of the top-20 financial institutions.

Bushnell has continued to be in the forefront of the consumer credit and identity theft protection industry at IDIQ.

“I’m excited to be a part of the company’s rapid growth,” Bushnell said. “The most rewarding part of this job is the opportunity to build products and services that have positioned IDIQ as one of the premier credit monitoring and identity theft protection companies in the country.”

Earlier this year, IDIQ hired credit industry expert John Bauer as president and chief revenue officer and marketing expert Robert Rausch as its chief marketing officer. During the pandemic, the company has hired more than 125 employees to meet increased consumer demand for identity theft and credit report monitoring.

Scott Hermann, CEO and co-owner of IDIQ, praised Bushnell’s leadership, saying, “I’m very happy to have Damian in this role where his knowledge of consumer credit risk and his experience with identity theft protection allows him to execute the best products for our consumers.”

IDIQ is one of the fastest-growing companies in America, earning two consecutive spots on the prestigious Inc. 5000 List that has also featured Microsoft, Patagonia, Intuit and Under Armour as previous list honorees.
