Avocado ”excels at process-level security”, according to report
Avocado Systems, an innovator in application security, today announced that independent research firm Forrester has ranked it a Contender in The Forrester New Wave™: Microsegmentation, Q1 2022, report—one of only nine top emerging vendors evaluated in the microsegmentation space. Forrester considers microsegmentation essential for Zero Trust private networks and recognized Avocado for its software-process-level microsegmentation, which protects against sophisticated attacks like ZeroDay, APT, Log4j and ransomware.
According to the report, Avocado Systems:
- “ringfences at the process level, providing an extra level of Zero Trust granularity”;
- “is one of the only vendors that stops attackersusing shell exploits and other payloads from moving laterally across explicitly allowed layer 4 paths”; and

Avocado enforces Zero Trust security by fully automating application and API process microsegmentation, which isolates software processes at the deepest level and enables their protection.
