Jeremy Martin makes a welcome return to FireMon

FireMon reinforces its commitment to advancing security operations with Martin’s appointment.

FireMon, the leading network security policy management (NSPM) company that brings visibility, control, agility, and automation to enterprise cloud and hybrid network infrastructure, has announced that cybersecurity industry stalwart Jeremy Martin will return to the organization as its new Chief Technology Officer.

Martin was previously Vice President for Engineering at FireMon for nearly seven years, from 2011 to 2018. After which, Martin served as the CTO at a cloud-based healthcare solutions provider. There, he led his team with expert innovative knowledge and leadership skills derived through his twenty-plus years of IT product development and industry experience.

Justin Stouder, the current CTO, will remain at FireMon, where he will return to his previous role of leading the Asset Manager team as General Manager.

“As I return to FireMon in the role of Chief Technology Officer, I am invigorated to embrace the challenges and complexity that is cybersecurity. FireMon’s commitment to advancing security solutions has always resonated with me, and now, as CTO, I am eager to lead our talented team in shaping the future of cybersecurity. This return signifies more than a professional homecoming—it marks a strategic alignment with a company that thrives on pushing the boundaries of technological excellence. Together, we aim to redefine what it means to be a leader in cybersecurity, setting new standards for innovation and safeguarding the digital frontier,” said Martin.

“Jeremy’s success at building products and building teams helped fuel much of FireMon’s growth in those years and even to this day,” said Jody Brazil, CEO of FireMon. “His passion for an engineering-led culture, a focus on customer outcomes, and a bias for action will help us build more than just great products – we will build one of the great software engineering teams in our industry. I am thrilled to welcome Jeremy back to FireMon. With his return, we aim to further strengthen our mark in the cybersecurity industry.”
