Data security & compliance industry leader expands executive bench with new CMO

Amundson’s hire follows a banner year for VGS, including a $60M Series C, inclusion in CB Insights’ Fintech 250 list, and the launch of VGS Control, a comprehensive platform that solves compliances such as SOC 2, PCI, ISO 27001, GDPR, and more with one simple integration. Over the past year, offerings such as card issuing, payments optimization, tokenization, and more have led to rapid growth for the company, bringing the Zero Data™ approach to customers like DoorDash, Brex, Texas Capital Bank and Even, among others.

Amundson’s prior go-to-market roles at TIBCO (acquired by Vista Equity), Marketo (IPO), FGXI (acquired by Essilor) and Red Bull provide a depth of experience across key go-to-market functions, geographies and sectors.
