Northeastern Center Selects Streamline’s SmartCare As Next EHR

Following a comprehensive evaluation, Northeastern Center, headquartered in Kendallville, Indiana, has selected Streamline Healthcare Solutions (Streamline) as its new electronic health record (EHR) partner. Northeastern Center was looking for an EHR platform that could not only support their immediate needs but also support them well into the future as they introduce new service lines and grow as an agency. Streamline’s strong Indiana user group also played a large role in their decision process, bringing them to a total of nine Indiana partner agencies on their SmartCare™ EHR.

Steve Howell, CEO at Northeastern Center, commented, “We are excited about our new partnership with Streamline. There are many high-quality EHR systems in the marketplace currently, and we believe quite clearly and strongly, that Streamline provides the best alignment for Northeastern Center. We considered many factors in our decision-making, with capacity building a major one; Streamline will meet our current needs as well as accommodate our future growth and expansion.”

“Since Streamline’s entrance into Indiana in 2017, we have put an emphasis on an efficient state reporting workflow for the state’s community mental health centers. We are excited to welcome Northeastern Center into the growing Indiana user community and are confident SmartCare will be a useful tool in accomplishing their organization’s mission,” said Javed Husain, Co-CEO at Streamline Healthcare Solutions.
