oak9 Adds Integration With Jira to Streamline Security

oak9, a leader in infrastructure-as-code (IaC) security, recently launched an integration with Jira, a leading workflow management tool, to streamline the security process for oak9 customers.

oak9 continuously and dynamically monitors customers’ application infrastructure for security design gaps and vulnerabilities, and the connection to Jira will provide real-time feedback about security issues as oak9 discovers them. Any time oak9 detects an issue, Jira will create a ticket, then route the tickets to the appropriate security and development teams for resolution.

This process allows developers to keep using the tools and workflows they are accustomed to while seamlessly integrating security into the process. It also enables customers to easily track the solutions to their completion in their own ticketing systems without needing to maintain a separate system. By having access to automated updates from Jira in their existing workflow, oak9 customers can ensure their application infrastructure is as secure as possible without slowing down their development teams or allowing security issues to slip through the cracks.

“Security alerts alone are not valuable,” oak9 CEO and co-founder Raj Datta said. “Customers need to be able to quickly take action to resolve issues. Integrating with Jira allows oak9 customers to cut resolution times nearly in half, while also ensuring they can uphold their stringent security standards. Other products on the market inform you there are security issues, but we make sure you know they’re getting solved.”
