Observe.AI Named to CB Insights AI 100 List of Innovative AI Startups

Observe.AI (www.observe.ai), an Intelligent Workforce Platform that transforms contact centers through AI, today announced it has been named to CB Insights’ annual AI 100 Ranking, which showcases the 100 most promising private artificial intelligence companies in the world.

Observe.AI transforms how contact centers operate as AI-empowered systems of intelligence, with full conversation visibility, business-improving insights, and machine-driven workflows. By distilling intelligence from every customer interaction, Observe.AI acts as a force multiplier, boosting performance of customer-facing teams and automating repeatable processes that exceed business goals.

“As adoption of contact center AI continues to grow, we believe ardently that business-centric, purpose-built AI is the key to unlocking tremendous business value – so this is what we remain laser-focused on building,” said Swapnil Jain, Co-Founder and CEO of Observe.AI. “We’re delighted by CB Insights’ recognition of our achievements and prowess in shaping how contact centers leverage AI to drive improvement in customer experience and revenue generation.”

This recognition comes on the heels of a momentous year for Observe.AI. Most recently, Observe.AI announced the largest-ever Series C funding for contact center AI, in a $125 million round led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2 with participation by Zoom Video Communications. Earlier in 2022, the company closed a record fiscal year with 150% ARR growth and 40% increase in its enterprise customer base. In the last 12 months alone, Observe.AI’s patent-pending AI engine has processed nearly one billion minutes of customer interactions.

“We’re honored to be recognized for Observe.AI’s novel innovations in AI-powered conversation intelligence. We feel this is a testament to our innovation-first approach and deep commitment to R&D, which have propelled new levels of accuracy in transcription, sentiment analysis, intelligent redaction, and other business-critical capabilities for contact centers,” said Jithendra Vepa, Chief Science Officer at Observe.AI.

“Producing a richer understanding of human emotion by accounting for more nuanced, complex parameters is a key differentiator for Observe.AI. This generates a more contextualized, 360-degree view of the customer, and empowers contact centers to deliver superior, empathetic customer experiences.”

“This is the sixth year that CB Insights has recognized the most promising private artificial intelligence companies with the AI 100. This year’s cohort spans 13 industries, working on everything from recycling plastic waste to improving hearing aids,” said Brian Lee, SVP of CB Insights’ Intelligence Unit. “Last year’s AI 100 companies had a remarkable run, raising more than $6 billion, including 20 mega-rounds worth more than $100 million each. We’re excited to watch the companies on this year’s list continue to grow and create products and services that meaningfully impact the world around them.”

Utilizing the CB Insights platform, the research team picked 100 private market vendors from a pool of over 7,000 companies, including applicants and nominees. They were chosen based on factors including R&D activity, proprietary Mosaic scores, market potential, business relationships, investor profile, news sentiment analysis, competitive landscape, team strength, and tech novelty. The research team also reviewed thousands of Analyst Briefings submitted by applicants.
