Perimeter 81 Recognized on CRN’s 2023 Security 100 List

Perimeter 81, the rapidly-growing converged network security and Zero Trust Networking Access (ZTNA) leader, today announced that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named Perimeter 81 to its annual Security 100 list. Recognizing leading IT channel security leaders, the Security 100 list honorees bring a combination of channel focus and trailblazing, innovative technology to solution providers.

Today, security continues to be a top concern for organizations of all sizes in all industries as hybrid-remote work becomes the new normal. Growing concerns around cybersecurity and critical data loss, coupled with the need for protection from increasingly sophisticated cyberthreats, is expected to fuel further market growth.

Recipients chosen for this year’s Security 100 list have been specifically selected by CRN editors for their outstanding channel-focused security offerings across five categories: Identity Management and Data Protection; Endpoint and Managed Security; Network Security; Web, Email and Application Security; and Security Operations, Risk and Threat Intelligence. This list serves as a comprehensive guide for solution providers, helping them to identify the top security vendors to team with as they build innovative solutions for their customers.

Traditional security appliances only protect the physical office, which no longer makes sense in today’s hybrid work model. Perimeter 81 was recognized for its innovative work in the Network Security category, covering the new corporate premises over the internet. Its unique solutions empower managed service providers (MSPs) to easily and rapidly build distributed networks over the internet to securely protect against phishing attacks, malware threats, and unsecured WiFi networks — enabling everyone to remain protected in the digital atmosphere.

Previously recognized by CRN as a 2021 Emerging Vendor for Cybersecurity, a member of the 2021 Edge Computing 100 List and a 2021 Tech Innovator finalist, Perimeter 81 sharpened its focus on MSPs in 2022 with the official launch of its partner program. It also recently established its malware protection solution to protect customers from even the most complicated internet-borne threats to complement Perimeter 81’s Secure Web Gateway, ZTNA and SASE offerings. Looking ahead, Perimeter 81 continues to push the envelope of what’s possible for network security solutions and plans to expand its network with additional points of presence.

“It only takes one employee to be infiltrated for entire organizations to be vulnerable to hackers. That risk goes up even more when employees aren’t in the office and are working from anywhere, so it’s crucial we equip MSPs with agile, robust solutions that can be implemented over the internet,” said Amit Baraket, CEO of Perimeter 81. “Being named to the Security 100 list validates our determined efforts in designing that easily configurable and incredibly reliable platform. We are more motivated than ever to become the leading SASE vendor for MSPs.”

“With all the unexpected changes organizations have faced since the beginning of COVID-19, security still remains the most critical factor in business today. This year’s Security 100 list acknowledges industry-leading companies that deliver pioneering security offerings to the IT channel that can withstand a wide range of threats. These companies are laying the groundwork for the most advanced cybersecurity solutions,” said Blaine Raddon, CEO of The Channel Company.

The 2023 Security 100 list is available online and featured in the February 2023 issue of CRN.
