Today marks the official launch of ProsperityEHR, an innovative electronic health record (EHR) platform designed specifically to help behavioral health organizations enhance financial stability, streamline operations and improve patient care. With an intuitive and AI-ready architecture, ProsperityEHR optimizes revenue cycle management, patient engagement and clinical workflows allowing providers to focus on delivering high-quality care.Â
ProsperityEHR is the foundation of a behavioral health practice’s operations, streamlining care delivery while seamlessly connecting to essential tools like insurance verification systems, clearinghouses, e-prescribing platforms, and telehealth solutions. By automating key workflows—patient intake, eligibility checks, treatment plan reviews, and claims processing—ProsperityEHR cuts administrative burden, speeds up reimbursements, and helps practices scale efficiently.
The behavioral health industry is experiencing a significant surge in demand for services. While healthcare organizations recognize the need for integrated solutions like EHRs to enhance care delivery and improve operations, behavioral health providers have lagged behind in adoption. Only 6% of mental health facilities and 29% of substance use treatment centers have implemented a certified EHR, a stark contrast to the more than 96% adoption rate in hospitals. This gap forces many outpatient behavioral health providers to exchange patient information across organizations and care settings via paper, phone, or fax, or rely on disjointed systems—leading to compliance risks, workflow inefficiencies, data inaccuracies, and barriers to personalized care.
Revenue cycle challenges are also squeezing behavioral health providers. Claims denials have increased 20% since 2023, and 67% of providers believe reimbursement times have risen since 2022. Conversations about Medicaid budget cuts in Washington, DC are also stoking anxiety in the industry; this uncertain regulatory environment could negatively impact both patient access and provider reimbursements. Interoperability can address these pain points, but requires a strongly integrated EHR to connect foundational systems and applications. Unfortunately, less than half of healthcare providers that use EHRs are satisfied with the level of integration they provide. Behavioral health providers must future-proof their tech stack by integrating an EHR that unlocks financial stability and interoperability.
ProsperityEHR provides an end-to-end, user-centered platform with AI, analytics and self-service features. By automating tasks such as scheduling and insurance verification, ProsperityEHR enables practices to expand without the need for additional support staff. This optimizes operations and opens up time to foster deeper connections between providers and patients, ensuring a more personalized and effective care experience.
“ProsperityEHR is more than a modern software solution; we’re a growth partner for behavioral health practices. As the behavioral health landscape continues to evolve, we’re ready to support providers in navigating these changes through our AI-ready architecture, ensuring they are equipped with the tools to thrive in a dynamic environment and weather any storm,” said Melissa Tran, CEO of ProsperityEHR. “Our EHR platform is designed to empower behavioral health practices to scale, optimize revenue cycles, and ultimately deliver better patient outcomes through our seamless integration and strong interoperability capabilities.”
Prosperity EHR supports behavioral health practices that provide psychiatric evaluations, couples & family therapy, medication management, individualized elective therapy, Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Esketamine therapy, ADHD testing, and more. Born out of the acquisition of TheraManager DocuTrac by Renaissance Holdings in 2022, ProsperityEHR synthesized three decades of behavioral health experience from the TheraManager team and channelled it into building the EHR platform of the future. With funding from investors with a strong track record in behavioral health, ProsperityEHR has created a customized solution tailored for behavioral health operations, with more products and services on the way. It will be onboarding 50 provider groups by the end of year, and is already in-market with a number of practices, including Clear View Behavioral Services in Redlands, California.
“ProsperityEHR has made administrative tasks much more efficient, while also streamlining documentation for our clinicians. The system is intuitive, even for non-tech savvy users,” said Jessica Rivera, owner and Clinical Director of Clear View Behavioral Services. “I am so pleased to utilize ProsperityEHR because it simplifies daunting tasks like charting for therapists, and ensures nothing falls through the cracks. The support the ProsperityEHR team provided before, during, and after ‘Go Live’ was tremendous, as well, and significantly decreased my anxiety about the migration!”
