RapidFort joins Microsoft for Startups Pegasus Program

The program helps RapidFort drive growth and customer value

RapidFort, the San Francisco-based cybersecurity startup pioneering Software Attack Surface Management (SASM), has been selected as a member of the prestigious Microsoft for Startups Pegasus Program. The program helps drive sales and accelerate growth for RapidFort’s advanced software security platform. As part of the program, Microsoft channels and customers now have easy access to RapidFort’s market-leading platform, which includes RapidFort Runtime Protection. This tool empowers security teams to automatically scan, understand, and harden their software infrastructure. By leveraging Runtime Protection, companies can expect the automatic remediation of 60-90% of their software vulnerabilities without involving development teams.

“The Microsoft Pegasus Program is a critical part of our go-to-market strategy, and we’re thrilled to be working with such a stellar and capable team,” said Mehran Farimani, CEO at RapidFort. “Being selected as a member of the program validates our unique vision for the future of software attack surface management. With Microsoft’s support, we will greatly accelerate our mission to help customers automatically secure and optimize their software, and enjoy the operational efficiency and security benefits that RapidFort enables.”

The Microsoft for Startups Pegasus Program extends the Microsoft for Startup Founders Hub platform with curated training and support for invited startups. The Pegasus Program is an ecosystem of startups with unique solutions to critical market needs and offers a range of resources and support. Participation in the program gives RapidFort access to a dedicated Success Manager, a Cloud Solutions Architect, and an Account Executive, who provide customers with personalized support and the technical assistance needed to make the most of RapidFort’s offerings. RapidFort is well-positioned to accelerate top-line expansion and deliver innovative solutions that solve critical business problems for Microsoft and RapidFort’s joint customers.

The program also enables RapidFort to serve its current and prospective customers better. Microsoft’s enterprise customers who are looking to streamline their security operations are now able to connect with RapidFort’s offerings and transact seamlessly. These companies can now meet one-on-one with RapidFort to collaborate on digital transformation and innovation opportunities.

“Remediation of software vulnerabilities is a considerable burden to engineering teams, and RapidFort has developed a patented and effective toolset to significantly reduce this cost. RapidFort’s acceptance into the Pegasus Program is a testament to their unique approach to software security. We look forward to continuing our work together to drive growth for them, and increased security for our joint customers,” said Tom Davis, Senior Director at Microsoft for Startups.
