Rave Aware enables CAD data sharing
Rave’s continued growth comes at a time when public safety agencies are increasingly looking for ways to speed response, share data, increase collaboration and enhance responder safety. To solve for this need, Rave recently launched Rave Aware™, a new solution that enables Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD) data sharing and facilitates interoperability between CAD systems. 9-1-1 call centers and emergency response agencies benefit from improved operational efficiencies and greater situational awareness across jurisdictions.
RapidDeploy partnership seamlessly delivers Rave data to 9-1-1
Rave has also partnered with RapidDeploy to provide Rave data into 9-1-1 call centers to better inform emergency response, get help onsite more quickly and add context on the caller’s condition. The integration of Rave’s Smart911™ emergency profiles, facility floor plans and Rave Panic Button™ event data into RapidDeploy’s RadiusPlus mapping system seamlessly delivers additional critical information to the telecommunicator’s native interface.
“We share Rave’s mission to ensure the best response in a crisis for our communities and first responders,” said Steven Raucher, RapidDeploy co-founder and CEO. “Our partnership with Rave allows us to share critical life-saving information with telecommunicators, directly on the map as part of the 9-1-1 workflow.”
Operational messaging expands notifications beyond emergency alerts
Rave has introduced operational messaging to expand communications beyond emergency alerts to informational updates, sales promotions and marketing messages. Driven by the goal to prevent spam messages and strengthen emergency messages, Rave supports the industry’s new 10-digit long code (10DLC) requirements. Organizations can send both operational messages and emergency messages from different, clearly defined phone numbers in line with the latest requirements from mobile carriers.
“The face of public safety and critical communication is constantly evolving, and we are committed to providing our customers with solutions that solve for their most pressing challenges,” said Todd Piett, Rave CEO. “It’s more important than ever that emergency response and critical data are taken out of siloes so those tasked with public safety can share information and seamlessly work together to protect their communities.”
Recent recognition for Rave is highlighted by inclusion in BuiltIn’s Best Midsize Places to Work in Boston list, a 2021 Security Today New Product of the Year Award (Rave Collaborate), and the Mass Technology Leadership Council Tech Top 50.
