Singh to Lead Smartsheet Into Next Phase of Accelerated Growth
Smartsheet today announced the appointment of technology industry veteran Rajeev Singh as its new Chief Executive Officer and member of the Board of Directors. Singh succeeds Sunny Gupta, who has served as acting CEO since July and will continue in his role as Executive Chair of the Board.
Singh is a proven leader with a history of building and scaling highly successful technology companies, including Concur and Accolade. He joins Smartsheet to lead the company into its next phase of accelerated growth and innovation.

The appointment comes as Smartsheet transforms to become the Intelligent Work Management platform for customers everywhere. This transformation will be powered by people working in partnership with agentic AI to accelerate customers’ time to results. Singh’s experience in scaling high-growth SaaS companies and leading market transformations will be central as the company embraces this multi-year journey.
