Software AG Named a Leader for Industrial IoT Platforms

Software AG (Frankfurt MDAX: SOW) has announced that Gartner® has named the company a Leader in the Magic Quadrant for Industrial IoT (IIoT)*. Software AG recognizes that the success of digital transformation required around IIoT initiatives rely on people and culture more than anything else. At a time when manufacturers are looking for ways that their people can be more effective and their processes more efficient, having the right tools in place is crucial.

Dr. Stefan Sigg, CPO at Software AG, commented: “Manufacturers are under many pressures, not only around the efficiency of their processes, but also from the volatility of their up- and down-stream supply chains. They need reliable systems to anticipate, identify and respond to early-warning signals to make their production lines as efficient and resilient as possible. Moving to a hybrid cloud environment will also help collaborate more effectively with their partners, suppliers and customers. This mission to be truly connected is something that we’re happy to support our customers with – and our capabilities are validated with this Magic Quadrant.”
