SolarWinds acquires Federal Services Provider, Monalytic

SolarWinds provides federal customers with the tools, and now the services, needed to enhance and protect their mission-critical systems

SolarWinds (NYSE:SWI), a leading provider of simple, powerful, and secure IT management software, today announced it has acquired Monalytic, a monitoring, analytics, and professional services company, and preferred SolarWinds services provider. This acquisition helps provide SolarWinds federal customers with around-the-clock support to help optimize and secure their dynamic IT environments by coupling the company’s effective, accessible, and easy-to-use IT management products with Monalytic’s seasoned experts who operate in the most secure environments.

Monalytic has long been a trusted partner of SolarWinds, providing SolarWinds’ public sector customers with professional services and the training needed to generate peak performance of their mission-critical systems. Monalytic has extensive experience in the installation of SolarWinds software in complex environments and the integration of SolarWinds with legacy systems. All Monalytic consultants are SolarWinds Certified Professionals and will continue to work alongside the SolarWinds Partner ecosystem and network of resellers.

“We are thrilled to welcome the Monalytic team to SolarWinds. This acquisition will enhance our ability to serve our federal customers and Partners,” said Sudhakar Ramakrishna, president and CEO, SolarWinds. “In supporting our federal customers for over a decade, Monalytic has proven its ability to operate in the most secure environments and deliver fantastic value.”

“Monalytic has helped our government customers realize the exceptional value of their SolarWinds investment,” said Andrea Webb, senior vice president, Chief Customer Officer, SolarWinds. “This acquisition will further amplify Monalytic’s capabilities, through their service and support offerings, and as a result, will help further intensify our efforts in this critical customer segment and continue to deliver superior value.”

Through this acquisition, SolarWinds will be positioned to offer enhanced support to its federal customers around the clock, with a simplified procurement process. As Ramakrishna embarks on his second year as president and CEO of SolarWinds, this acquisition serves as a proactive step to continue to improve the experience for the SolarWinds customers in federal government.

“For existing Monalytic customers, nothing will change – it will only get better,” said Greg Fetterhoff, president, Monalytic, a SolarWinds Company. “We will continue to help organizations perform at their peak and reap the benefits of their SolarWinds investment, and it will be even easier for SolarWinds users to access our services. We will continue to team with the SolarWinds channel Partners to meet program goals. And we will continue all operations, but with more resources to do it even better.”

Monalytic brings 16 employees to SolarWinds and through the acquisition will continue to operate as a separate entity. These joint services and offerings are broadly available through a variety of procurement vehicles and SolarWinds customers’ preferred public sector Partners.
