SolarWinds Announces New Updates to Partner Program

SolarWinds partner program updates and channel partner growth initiatives

Program upgrades, scheduled for Summer 2026, will focus on more benefits, increased enablement, and an improved partner experience.

SolarWinds, a leading provider of simple, powerful, secure observability and IT management software, today announced additional enhancements to its Reseller Partner Program. This update marks a key milestone in the company’s continued commitment to strengthening and evolving its partner ecosystem with better benefits, enablement opportunities, and a more predictable discount framework.

For reseller partners, these enhancements offer a clearer, more consistent framework for how SolarWinds rewards investment and growth. By providing predictable benefits across tiers, SolarWinds is giving partners the tools and resources required to grow pipeline, accelerate deals, and support customer success.

“This latest iteration of our Partner Program is further proof of our commitment to improve business outcomes for our partners’ customers,” said Barb Huelskamp, VP of Global Channel Sales and Alliances. “We continue to listen to partners making specific changes aligned with their needs to accelerate growth and customer satisfaction. We understand that the more we empower our partners, the better equipped they are to solve the evolving and complex issues customers must navigate.” The new enhancements span four categories:

  • Benefits — Based on explicit criteria, partners will have access to more tier-based benefits. These include updated and simplified incentives and marketing resources and support, as well as a new long-term rewards center designed to drive continued investment.
  • Enablement — SolarWinds continues to evolve its online certifications while providing additional monthly webinars and newsletters supporting partner enablement. Partners will also have access to new specializations, empowering them in specific disciplines solving evolving and complex customer issues.
  • Partner Experience — The Partner Portal experience was a specific point of emphasis in feedback from partners. As a result, partners will now have access to brand-new portal resources and functionality, including an enhanced NFR process, role-based journeys and onboarding guidance, and enhanced content supporting multiple stages of the sales process.
  • Discounting — SolarWinds is moving to established tier-based discounts. This provides a more consistent framework helping sales and channel teams align more predictably on program execution1.

“By working closely with SolarWinds, we have successfully removed operational friction, expanded market reach, and enabled partners to use AI-powered observability to proactively identify issues and optimize performance,” said Carlos Rodrigues, President, North America at Climb. “Their newly enhanced partner program accelerates this collaborative momentum by providing the predictable framework and strengthened enablement our partners need to scale outcomes and drive growth.”

To ensure a smooth transition, SolarWinds is launching an extensive series of enablement resources and dedicated office hours to prepare the ecosystem for the official program go-live. While new, explicit tier requirements are being introduced, partners will have a full year to align with the updated standards, supported by a new Fast Track Program designed to help high-growth partners accelerate their status through temporary elevated positioning.

These partner program enhancements will go into effect August 3. For more information, visit the partner portal here.
