Former Chair of JavaScript Security Task Group and Architect for F5 will drive strategic advancements for Maverics Identity Orchestration Platform
Strata Identity, the Identity Orchestration company, today announced Granville Schmidt has been appointed its Chief Architect. He will be responsible for steering the technical and strategic direction of Strata’s products and managing the company’s engineering teams to deliver scalable, secure, and innovative software solutions.
“Granville brings together a powerful combination of deep technical experience and visionary leadership to guide the future development of the Maverics Identity Orchestration Platform,” said Eric Olden, CEO and Co-founder of Strata Identity. “He will direct the unifying architecture of Maverics as we expand the definition of the Identity Orchestration market to ensure continued availability and security of Maverics while we layer in new breakthroughs with generative AI.”
Granville joined Strata two years ago from F5, where he served as an architect within the Office of the CTO and focused on innovation, standards, and open-source initiatives. Previously, he was the Information Security Officer and Founding Engineer at the medical technology provider PriorAuthNow (now Rhyme). He played an instrumental role in taking the software platform from zero to one and leading all security and compliance aspects. He also served as the Chair of JavaScript Security TG (TC39-TG3) and holds multiple security and privacy certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP), HealthCare Information Security and Privacy Practitioner (HCISPP), and Certified Information Privacy Technologist (CIPT).
