Surgimate, the leading provider of surgical coordination software in the U.S., today announced the appointment of Kraig Brown as its new CEO.
Brown, formerly the CEO of Office Practicum, has a proven track record of helping businesses scale. He brings to Surgimate more than 25 years of executive experience, predominantly in the digital health, revenue cycle management and electronic health record (EHR) industries.
“I’m truly honored to join Surgimate at such a pivotal moment in its journey,” Brown said. “Surgical practices today are expected to manage growing patient volumes and tightening margins, all while delivering exceptional care. Brown succeeds Rebecca Brygel, who founded Surgimate in 2009. Brygel will transition into a new role as Product Ambassador, where she’ll work closely with Brown to enhance the company’s product roadmap and existing offerings.
“Leading Surgimate has been the highlight of my career, and I’m immensely proud of everything we’ve achieved so far,” Brygel said. “It’s an incredible privilege to pass the torch to Kraig, and I look forward to working with him on even more sophisticated solutions to support our customers and the surgical ecosystem.”
