Combination drives innovation with IoT and Building Automation Systems and extends TMA Systems’ solution reach to additional industries
TMA Systems, a world-class provider of advanced Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Enterprise Asset Management Solutions (EAMS) for over 30 years, announced today it has agreed to acquire Eagle Technology, a Wisconsin-based leader and developer of CMMS software serving enterprise clients globally in manufacturing, distribution and warehousing, transportation and logistics sectors. The Eagle acquisition is the first of what the company anticipates will be several future acquisitions as TMA expands beyond organic growth and leverages its $68 million strategic growth investment from Silversmith Capital Partners.
Global economic pressures are forcing organizations to have a more holistic view of their processes in order to achieve a greater return on their assets. TMA Systems’ acquisition of Eagle Technology will accelerate the pace of innovation on its platform, enabling greater predictive maintenance capabilities for all clients. Both companies have key IoT integrations with an expanded list of partners that facilitate real-time alert monitoring, perform continuous checks and diagnostics on key equipment, and expedite data-driven decisions to maximize asset life and reduce asset downtime. Combined, the two companies will deliver maintenance software interfaces and integrations that make it easy to connect to other applications and network systems resulting in more robust building automation.
“Together, TMA Systems and Eagle Technology will provide our clients with a more complete solution that aligns facilities maintenance and overall organizational goals,” said Mark Simner, TMA Systems CEO. “The acquisition of Eagle Technology solidifies our mission of helping companies reduce maintenance costs, optimize return on assets, enhance production capacity and improve time to value on a global scale.”
Eagle Technology has been a leader in CMMS for 30 years. Eagle Technology’s flagship product, Proteus MMX, helps maintenance staff plan and facilitate rapid interventions to prevent equipment failures and downtime. Eagle has forged strong integration with major IoT platforms that drives more effective maintenance programs and eliminates work effort. Over 150 clients have adopted and grown their footprint with Eagle, demonstrating the very high value and almost immediate ROI that clients see from this solution.
“Eagle Technology and TMA Systems share a vision to provide innovative and open solutions to our customers,” said Harshad Shah, CEO of Eagle Technology. “TMA Systems has been strong in delivering its solution to Education, Healthcare, and Government sectors while Eagle will help expand the company’s footprint into Manufacturing, Distribution Centers and Warehousing.”
TMA Systems is headquartered in Tulsa, Oklahoma and will add an office in Mequon, Wisconsin and Monterrey, Mexico through the acquisition. Eagle will continue Development, Sales/Marketing and Customer Service/Support operations in these areas.
