Valtruis Adds Vice President of Data and Analytics

Valtruis, a WCAS Company, recently added Paul Jansen as its Vice President of Data and Analytics. Paul comes to Valtruis with the charge of helping its partner companies bridge the clinical models they are implementing and the risk models they are undertaking. Given Valtruis’ focus on value-based care, the organization aims to enhance care delivery teams’ ability to understand the impact of the treatment decisions being made on achieving superior outcomes for patients. Together with its Ursa Health partnership, a market leading, value-based data and analytics company, Valtruis is building a deep and sophisticated set of capabilities in support of its growing list of partner companies. Paul’s extensive background in healthcare data and analytics is highlighted by his most recent experience at Teladoc where he led the value-based care data team to develop successful value-based care models and assess product impact on clinical outcomes and total cost of care savings.

Jansen joins a growing bench of industry leaders available to support Valtruis’ partner companies in their value-based care journey. Along with Valtruis Managing Directors, Tracy Bahl, Karey Witty, and Anna Haghgooie, and their experience as operators and investors in value-based healthcare services, our Platform Services team includes functional expertise in finance, people, data and analytics, actuarial science, and risk contracting. These functional experts combined with a bench of Executive Advisors with deep operating experience at scale, provide Valtruis partner companies with a platform to execute more quickly to drive impact and transformation. Further, Valtruis looks to continually provide its partner companies with proprietary access to unique, value-based oriented services that advance their business through innovative partnerships, such as Ursa Health and The Health Management Academy.

“Our laser focus on value-based care innovation, along with our deep payor and health system relationships, enables us to deepen and share economies of intelligence among our partner companies,” says Valtruis Managing Director, Karey Witty. “Through our expanding and highly specialized knowledge, we enable our partner companies to advance their businesses faster, more efficiently, and more competitively.”
