Ventiv Technology Appoints Jennifer Butts as New VP of InfoSec

Executive with over 20 years of experience chosen to further Ventiv’s data security and privacy standards team

Ventiv Technology, the leading provider of advanced analytics for risk, claims and underwriting solutions, today announced the appointment of Jennifer Butts as Vice President of Information Security.

The addition of Butts to the Ventiv team is another strategic move to accelerate the company’s leadership position in SaaS and on-premise solutions for the risk, claims administration, and insurance industry. Today, Ventiv’s suite of analytics solutions offers a vast array of products with highly complex software, which is familiar territory for Butts.

“Ventiv has earned its strong reputation by providing industry-leading breadth and depth of tools,” says Butts. “I am excited to bring my experience strengthening information security to Ventiv, especially with their vast global and product footprint, and further support the Ventiv team in providing the dedicated and trusted service our clients know us for.”

Butts, a dynamic leader and technology visionary, has over 20 years of software experience, specializing in data security, privacy and compliance. She earned the Certified Information Security Manager (CISM) designation and led teams through preparing for SOC 1, SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certifications and creating formal security programs from scratch. Her recent experience working with a software company that provided multiple products, ranging from single- to multi-tenant and both on-premise and hosted environments, makes her uniquely qualified to expand Ventiv’s information security practice.

“We are excited to welcome Jennifer to our leadership team,” says Salil Donde, Ventiv Technology CEO. “She has expertly stepped into her role with Ventiv’s current information security practices and we look forward to her leadership as we mature our security and privacy programs to execute SOC audits, enhance compliance with GDPR standards and maintain our ISO 27001 and 27018 certifications. With Jennifer’s help, our internal enhancements will assure our clients that we’re meeting and exceeding information security standards.”
