Versa Networks to Showcase “SASE on Smart NIC” at Intel Innovation

Versa’s Unified SASE Platform Uniquely Leverages Intel NetSec Accelerator Reference Design to Deliver Zero Trust Networking™ for Untrusted Compute Environments

Versa Networks, the global leader in AI/ML-powered Unified Secure Access Service Edge (SASE), today announced it will showcase the latest in Unified SASE security and networking services at Intel Innovation 2023, including demonstrating several Zero Trust networking use cases for “SASE on a Smart NIC” functionality.

Exhibiting at Intel Innovation 2023 Sept. 19 and 20, Versa will offer a sneak peek of its new Versa Secure SD-NIC product built using the Intel NetSec Accelerator Reference Design. Versa is the first vendor in the industry to deliver “SASE on a Smart NIC” functionality for multiple high-value Zero Trust networking use cases, including:

  • Virtualized multi-tenant data centers; and
  • Secure compute in untrusted environments.

Versa’s highly flexible Unified SASE platform uniquely leverages the Intel NetSec Accelerator Reference Design to deliver security and secure connectivity solutions for a wide range of use cases from within the server itself. Leveraging Versa’s comprehensive networking and security stack, Versa’s Secure SD-NIC extends the security perimeter into compute devices, unlocking capabilities that include ZTNA, adaptive micro segmentation, and network and data security. It runs the same Versa Operating System (VOS) as any other Versa deployment, enabling the extension of a Versa Secure SD-WAN and Versa Secure SD-LAN architecture to include data centers and elements in untrusted locations.

At Intel Innovation 2023, Versa’s security and networking experts will be available to meet with attendees and discuss the latest in applying tightly integrated SASE services to solve their complex secure networking needs. Attendees are invited to visit Booth #305 in the Technology Showcase during the conference to get a demonstration of Versa’s Secure SD-NIC delivering Zero Trust networking services.
