WellSky strategically partners with Element5

With additional automation tools at their disposal, providers can reduce burdensome administrative tasks and focus on delivering high-quality patient care

WellSky, a leading health and community care technology company, today announced its strategic partnership with Element5, a workflow automation solution company for post-acute care. The partnership will expand the availability of workflow automation solutions across WellSky’s expansive home health and hospice client base. Together, WellSky and Element5 are enabling agencies to easily automate complex administrative tasks across the patient journey, freeing clinicians’ time at a point when staffing is already constrained.

“We’re thrilled to partner with an innovative organization like Element5 to help our clients improve efficiency and eliminate operational bottlenecks,” said Wes Little, chief analytics officer and general manager at WellSky. “Element5’s workflow automation technology will allow providers to spend less time on administrative work and more time providing patient care.”

With staffing shortages, ongoing regulatory demands, and declining margins, automation has become a critical component of operating strategies in post-acute markets. With Element5’s growing library of automated workflows, including Notice of Admission (NOA), claims submission, prior-authorization request, denial management, and cash posting, clients will be able to quickly adopt automation solutions that will have immediate impact. Additionally, Element5 can consult with and provide counsel to agencies to custom build new workflows tailored to their needs.

“Element5’s mission is to elevate staff to work at the top of their license by removing the high volume, administrative work from their desks so they can focus more on their mission — delivering the best care possible,” said Joe Randesi, co-founder and CEO of Element5. “Our partnership with WellSky will better enable their clients to adopt automation technologies across the patient journey, from eligibility to authorizations to revenue cycle management.”

The partnership between Element5 and WellSky will play a pivotal role in advancing automation adoption and changing operating models in post-acute care. Element5’s fully managed SaaS delivery model of productized workflows enables clients to augment their workforce and benefit from sophisticated technology without heavy IT burden or ongoing maintenance responsibilities.
