Xceedance Adds Reinsurance Veteran Nicole Mitchell to BOD

Xceedance, a global provider of digital transformation solutions, technology, and analytical services to the insurance industry, announces the addition of Nicole Mitchell to its board of directors.

Mitchell brings more than 15 years of experience in the technology and re/insurance industries to the board at Xceedance. She currently serves as the chief enterprise architect at SiriusPoint, a global specialty re/insurer. Previously, Mitchell served as head of business architecture at Hiscox, a U.K.-based business insurer, and held a variety of roles at technology and reinsurance organizations. As a member of the Xceedance board of directors, her responsibilities will include providing strategic guidance for the organization as well as setting and measuring organizational goals for continued global expansion.

“I am pleased to be joining the board of directors of such an innovative organization,” said Mitchell. “Technology and reinsurance are key focus areas of my career, and as a member of the Xceedance board I can leverage my expertise in these areas to help position the organization for continued growth and success.”

“Nicole’s background in reinsurance and technology made her a clear choice to join the board of directors,” said Arun Balakrishnan, chief executive officer at Xceedance. “Her perspective and insights will be key as we look to continue to build the Xceedance brand across global re/insurance markets.”

Mitchell earned a master’s degree in computer science from Queen’s University in Ontario, Canada in 2007. When not working she is an accomplished athlete, having represented her home country of Bermuda in international cycling competitions.
