Zapata AI welcomes Dalbir Singh as Chief People Officer

HR Leader and Tech Industry Veteran Brings Strong Track Record of Talent Acquisition and Culture-Building as Zapata AI scales to meet industry demand for Industrial Generative AI

Zapata Computing, Inc. (“Zapata AI” or the “Company”), the Industrial Generative AI software company developing solutions and applications to solve enterprises’ hardest problems, today announced that Dalbir Singh has joined as Chief People Officer. Singh brings over two decades of experience helping companies such as Expedia, Microsoft and GE acquire the talent needed to grow their businesses and build robust talent practices.

Dalbir will provide executive-level strategic human resource leadership to help Zapata AI grow its industry-leading team of scientists, engineers, and business leaders. One of his key responsibilities will be to identify and implement long-term strategic talent practices to help the company meet a growing demand for generative AI solutions at global enterprises.

“We’re thrilled to have Dalbir join us at this critical and exciting time in Zapata AI’s trajectory,” said Christopher Savoie, CEO of Zapata AI. “We’re seeing real momentum with our generative AI offerings and interest in our company. Dalbir’s experience with growing and maintaining unique cultures like the one we have at Zapata AI will play a huge role in our future success.”

Dalbir has a distinguished track record of building teams of exceptional talent at global technology enterprises, bringing more than 20 years of experience across the Americas, Europe and Asia. He has deep experience in talent acquisition, talent management, HR business partnering, and has previously worked at Expedia, GE, Microsoft, Flipkart, CSC and HCL Technologies.

“This opportunity at Zapata AI was too good to pass up, and I can’t wait to get to work with Christopher and the rest of the team,” said Dalbir. “While the challenges of growing an innovative company like Zapata AI in a competitive and early-stage space like generative AI are real, it still comes down to the people you have — and the people you bring on to complement them as the company grows. The culture here is special, and my experience of building HR practices at companies large and small will help me make it a place where current employees — and future employees — are enthusiastic to work.”
