Axonius Cybersecurity Asset Management Platform on DLT Solutions

Demand for cybersecurity asset management drives growth in federal market

Axonius, the leader in cybersecurity asset management, today announced that its Cybersecurity Asset Management Platform is now available through the DLT Solutions General Services Administration (GSA) Multiple Award Schedules (MAS), one of the largest and most widely used acquisition vehicles in the federal government. This relationship will enable federal agencies to leverage the Axonius platform to accurately and quickly track their assets, achieve a unified view of their environments, and efficiently meet emerging security compliance requirements.

Government organizations face dual pressures to modernize their infrastructure in support of new digital services, and to adhere to increasingly complex security and privacy compliance mandates. These regulations, including the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency’s Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation Program (CDM), require organizations to identify and maintain an up-to-date asset inventory. However, in modern cloud environments, this is a growing challenge that, if not solved, leads to increased risk and higher operational burdens.

“Gone are the days when public sector security was simply counting desktop computers and servers in a data center. The ephemeral nature of cloud and microservices, along with the challenge of siloed information in what is often more than 100 different security and network tools, makes it nearly impossible to manually maintain a comprehensive asset inventory,” said Robert McLernon, vice president of federal sales, Axonius. “With Axonius, organizations can get a truly accurate inventory, easily report and track security coverage and compliance of all assets, and automatically enforce security policies when assets fall out of compliance.”

Axonius connects to more than 315 security and technology products to ingest, consolidate, normalize, and rationalize asset management inventories across products. By using Axonius to automate security and compliance efforts and continuously monitor for changes, organizations can save an average of 86 person-hours of labor many times per year.

“Increased cloud utilization, emerging asset types and today’s remote work environment are making assets difficult to manage, track and protect against cyberthreats,” said Chris Wilkinson, president, DLT Solutions, a Tech Data company. “Through DLT’s GSA MAS contract, channel partners and federal agencies are now able to access and quickly implement the Axonius Cybersecurity Asset Management Platform to maintain compliance with evolving cybersecurity legislation, while increasing their organization’s automation capabilities and security posture.”

Over the past year, Axonius has seen increased traction in the federal market. Its Cybersecurity Asset Management Platform is listed on the CDM Approved Projects List and the NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement list, and is fully deployed in many federal environments, one encompassing more than 3.5 million devices. The Axonius federal team is continuously working to develop the company’s federal marketplace by building out offerings specific to civilian, Department of Defense, and intelligence agencies.
