Audit Affirms Camunda’s Application of Security and Availability Practices and Controls
Process orchestration company Camunda today announced it has completed its SOC 2 Type 2 audit, an independent assessment of the design and implementation of the company’s internal security controls. Camunda’s SOC 2 Type 2 audit provides transparency into the application of Camunda’s information security and compliance practices over several months.
“Our SOC 2 Type 2 audit affirms Camunda’s data security and availability practices, providing assurance that the company has implemented controls to protect against unauthorized access and ensure system availability in the event of a disruption or outage,” said Daniel Meyer, Camunda chief technology officer. “Security and compliance are paramount concerns for every one of our customers, and this successful audit attests that our practices are aligned to their strictest data security requirements.”
Conducted by Tevora, a management consultancy focused on cybersecurity, risk, and compliance services, this SOC 2 Type 2 audit affirms that Camunda’s information security practices, policies, procedures, and operations met the rigorous Trust Service Criteria for Security and Availability over a specific period of time as developed by the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants. SOC 2 Type 1 audits verify that a company’s systems and processes are designed to meet Trust Service Criteria standards, while SOC 2 Type 2 certification evaluates how well those systems and processes are actually operating over time. Camunda completed its SOC 2 Type 1 audit late last year.
