InfluxData Achieves ISO 27001 Certification

InfluxData, creator of the leading time series platform InfluxDB, today announced it has received the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification, a globally recognized standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). The certificate scope comprises the ISMS supporting the operations underlying the InfluxDB database cloud and enterprise offerings. It also includes ISO/IEC 27018:2019 compliance for the protection of personally identifiable information.

“InfluxData strives to give developers the best experience possible, and that requires the highest standard of information security program assurance,” said Peter Albert, CISO at InfluxData. “Achieving ISO 27001 certification is further validation of our commitment to industry-recognized IT security and privacy protection.”

ISO 27001 is an international compliance standard designed by the International Standards Organization (ISO) outlining best practices for information security and privacy. Compliance with ISO 27001 demonstrates InfluxData’s global commitment to comprehensive organizational security and risk management. Following an extensive audit process, the certification was issued by Coalfire, a certification body for management systems accredited through the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) and the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS).

InfluxData also maintains active SOC 2 Type I and Type II compliance programs. For more information on InfluxData’s security certifications, visit the InfluxData website.
