Drips Focuses on Accelerated Product Development and Innovation.

Drips, the founders of Conversational Texting®, today announced Erik Lamb has joined as Executive Vice President of Product and will focus on new product innovation and excellence as the company plans for strategic growth over the next several years.

Erik joins Drips after senior roles as Director of Product Management at SoFi, a financial services company that helps individuals achieve financial independence, and VP of Product at Finicity, a Mastercard company that offers a banking platform to connect customers’ financial data to mobile apps. While at SoFi, he successfully launched the first “Crypto Rewards” program for a U.S. based credit card, expanded the crypto trading platform by more than 350%, and helped increase users and assets under management by 1,000%. He has led product development efforts at four different companies that reached billion-dollar valuations, three of which were listed on the Inc. 500 fastest growing companies, and two ultimately went public.

“As more and more enterprises begin to adopt SMS technologies, we’re seeing an increasing interest in Conversational Texting® due to the fact that the majority of consumers prefer human-like conversations compared to chatbots,” said Aaron Christopher (A.C.) Evans, CEO at Drips. “The next several years will be transformative for two-way, conversational technology innovation and we are excited to play a critical role in this landscape. We’re fortunate to add a seasoned leader like Erik who brings a wealth of product development knowledge to help us achieve our growth goals. Erik has consistently built successful product portfolios in his career, and we look forward to him doing the same here at Drips.”

Erik’s product development experience covers a wide range of verticals in both the B2B and B2C industries. He has been involved in defining the product strategy and roadmap for a leading conversational AI and dialog management platform that handled more than 200,000 conversations per day, focusing on customer experience for the Fortune 1000. His product development expertise with dialog management will help propel Drips into its next phase product innovation.

“I’m honored to join Drips as a company that is creating new software categories and has aggressive growth goals for the foreseeable future,” said Erik Lamb, Executive Vice President of Product at Drips. “The Drips platform has facilitated over 3.5 billion touchpoints and the depth of data will continue to fuel improvements to our AI and machine learning capabilities allowing us to capture more market share.”
