Eko Health, a leader in artificial intelligence(AI) for the early detection of heart and lung diseases, today announced that its CORE 500® Digital Stethoscope has been awarded the internationally recognized Red Dot Design Award for product design excellence.
The Red Dot Award is one of the most respected design competitions in the world, honoring products that demonstrate outstanding quality, innovation, and functionality. Selected by an independent panel of experts, the CORE 500® was recognized for its advanced engineering, intuitive user experience, and seamless integration of clinical-grade auscultation and ECG capabilities in a compact device.

Launched in 2023, the CORE 500® is the first stethoscope to combine TrueSound™ audio technology, a full-color display with live ECG and phonocardiogram waveforms, and Bluetooth® connectivity to the Eko app for streamlined data management. Providers also have the option to pair the CORE 500® with Eko’s FDA-cleared AI software to support the detection of structural heart murmurs, atrial fibrillation (AFib), and low ejection fraction (Low EF).
With 40x sound amplification, active noise cancellation, and the ability to visualize sounds and waveforms at the bedside, the CORE 500® offers a new standard for precision and versatility at the point of care. The Red Dot Design Award recognition comes at a time of growing adoption of Eko’s technology across healthcare systems, telehealth programs, and research institutions worldwide.
