Return to boost FireMon’s sales leadership amid rising cybersecurity challenges.
FireMon, the leading network security policy management company that brings visibility, control, and automation to enterprise cloud and hybrid network infrastructure, has announced the return of cybersecurity industry sales veteran Kristen Twining to the organization with her appointment as Senior Vice President for Sales in the Americas, effective 1 July.
Twining was previously FireMon’s Vice President of Mid-Enterprise Sales & Business Development. During this time, Twining and her team of more than 20 talented and diverse Business Development Representatives and Account Executives were responsible for improving security operations and outcomes for enterprises up to $3B in revenue. It was in this role she helped build a repeatable, predictable, high-velocity sales motion that resulted in strong performance and year-over-year growth.
Through the course of the past 12 months, Twining was Senior Vice President of Global Sales at a multinational cybersecurity firm where she was responsible for the accelerated growth of its product set in the Identity Threat Detection and Response Market. She transformed and revamped the organization’s go-to-market strategy to focus on building a path toward a repeatable, predictable sales motion. Twining implemented and operationalized sales methodologies and, with her team, experienced quarter-over-quarter growth while successfully leading the company to an exit before its acquisition at the end of 2022.
“Returning to FireMon at a time when cybersecurity is under constant pressure from a rapidly changing landscape influenced by the rise of artificial intelligence and machine learning-driven threat agents presents exciting opportunities,” Twining said. “More than ever, FireMon is focused on providing enterprise customers with advanced security management solutions that give decision-makers complete visibility into and control over their complex network security infrastructures.”
“Kristen makes a welcome return to FireMon, where she played a critical role in growing sales in the mid-enterprise category,” said Jody Brazil, CEO of FireMon. “With her focus now on helping lead sales across the Americas, we cannot wait to see her influence in strengthening our market and building on our channel-first commitment to the market. Effective security management comes down to having sight of the network ecosystem. With Kristen helping lead the charge to expand our sales footprint, more organizations will benefit from the integrated asset management that using cloud-based solutions will provide them with.”
