Health Perspectives Group becomes Reverba

Entering the company’s 20th year, this new chapter represents the next level of transformative tech-enabled patient engagement for the biopharmaceutical industry

Health Perspectives Group, a leader in patient engagement, today announced its name change to Reverba. The name change reflects the firm’s evolution into a new type of global health engagement company offering built-for-purpose solutions across the biopharmaceutical continuum of clinical development and commercialization.

“Today’s announcement comes at a time when healthcare is increasingly complex, overwhelming, and rapidly changing. The fix requires fresh thinking, accountability, and the will to challenge the status quo,” said Cheryl Lubbert, CEO and co-founder of Reverba. “Our unique understanding of patient needs, coupled with pioneering technology, has enabled us to empower the biopharmaceutical industry to build trust with consumers and advance their products and services to better meet the needs of the patients they serve.”

Reverba was inspired by a vision of a multiplying force, reverberating and amplifying the perspectives of patients and the impact of their voices. It’s also rooted in science – an homage to REV-ErbA, an essential protein that supports the rhythms of life.

As the first company to provide a digital platform for pharma-sponsored patient-to-patient mentor programs, Reverba was and continues to be at the forefront of innovative patient solutions. Since its founding in 2002, it has launched the Advocate Resource Center (ARC), a built-for-purpose patient engagement platform; CareConcierge, a clinical trial recruitment and referral system; and the Alumni Platform, a groundbreaking post-trial relationship management tool. More than 20 biopharmaceutical companies rely on Reverba to manage relationships with their most important stakeholders: healthcare consumers.

“Building on our foundation, which combines empathy, process and technology, Reverba is uniquely positioned to drive the change needed to meet healthcare consumer expectations and accelerate industry transformation,” said Pam Garfield, EVP of Strategy & Innovation at Reverba. “The time is right to combine our expertise and bring our companies together under a single meaningful brand. We’re excited to introduce Reverba.”

The Health Perspectives Group of companies previously included subsidiaries Health Advocacy Strategies, Patient Health Perspectives, and HSP Insights, all now part of Reverba. This transformation is fueled by an investment by 424 Capital and other investors who are committed to supporting our expansion plans and pipeline of leading-edge engagement solutions for forward-thinking healthcare companies.

“The infusion from 424 Capital honors Reverba as a patient engagement pioneer and will enable us to accelerate our vision of elevating patients as true partners in the product lifecycle,” said Lubbert.

Reverba is working to transform the way healthcare companies think and function, making compliant, patient-centered action possible through:

Engagement strategies that resonate with patients in ways that build relationships and change behavior.

Technology that connects patients with each other and with organizations that are invested in improving customer experiences.

Insights about what matters to patients and how to convert this into meaningful initiatives and superior customer experiences.

In the highly-regulated pharmaceutical industry, Reverba brings together a team of experts with diverse expertise and backgrounds in social work, biotechnology, non-profits, medical research, law, analytics, public relations, publishing, technology and social media.

By leveraging its suite of technology platforms, Reverba helps biopharmaceutical companies provide connection, information and support to patients with specific conditions and collaborate on product development, clinical trials, regulatory issues, product use and disease management. Reverba has built lasting relationships with thousands of patients directly, and our programs have reached millions of other patients indirectly as well.
