Kion appoints Justin Bartinoski as SVP of Marketing

Company strengthens leadership team with go-to-market expertise to drive brand recognition and market expansion

-Kion, the leading cloud enablement solution provider, today announced the appointment of Justin Bartinoski as Senior Vice President of Marketing. With more than two decades of technology experience, Bartinoski has a track record of building brand recognition, demand engines and customer-centric marketing organizations. In this role, Bartinoski will be responsible for accelerating market expansion and adoption of the company’s cloud operations platform within both commercial and public sector markets.

Previously, Bartinoski was Vice President of Marketing at Trilio, where he was responsible for establishing category leadership and building demand in the cloud-native industry using a digital and content-focused marketing strategy. He also brings valuable enterprise marketing leadership experience from his tenure at CloudHealth Technologies, VCE (now part of Dell) and EMC.

“As we continue to grow Kion and help more organizations improve their cloud operations, I am thrilled to have Justin join as a leader on our go-to-market team to amplify the success that our platform has in public sector, higher education and commercial enterprises,” said Brian Price, CEO of Kion. “Justin has a proven track record of driving product interest using a digital-first and content-led approach to meet customers where they are on their AWS, Azure or Google Cloud journey. Additionally, his strategic mindset will play a pivotal role in shaping our marketing strategy, furthering our mission to empower businesses as they harness the power of the cloud.”

Bartinoski joins Kion during a period of significant growth and market relevance. A recent State of the Cloud report by Pluralsight cited a large skills gap with 65% of organizations actively using a multi-cloud architecture and another 20% currently working to build one. Many organizations are not prepared or are lacking resources to manage and govern multi-cloud infrastructure. Additionally, the report found that 70% of organizations struggle to drive customer value with the cloud and only 20% have defined a cloud security strategy.

“Customers are excited to unlock the full potential of their multi-cloud infrastructure by eliminating manual efforts and disparate tools. I was drawn to Kion because it brings extraordinary value in centralized management and automation of cloud operations to some of the largest enterprises –giving them confidence to focus on innovation,” said Bartinoski. “I’m thrilled to join Kion and look forward to helping the company pave an exciting path towards expansion, solidifying our position as an industry leader and driving even more value for our customers.”

Kion offers a single platform approach for automated multi-cloud governance, identity and access management, financial management, and compliance. Kion’s unique all-in-one cloud enablement platform helps organizations simplify management and governance activities to realize the full benefits of their AWS, Azure and Google Cloud infrastructure.
