Perimeter 81 Joins the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association

Perimeter 81, a leading Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) and Network as a Service provider, announced today that it has joined the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association to help customers defend against increasingly sophisticated and fast-moving cyber threats. The Microsoft-initiated ecosystem brings together leading software vendors and managed security service providers from across the cybersecurity industry.

Perimeter 81 will collaborate with Microsoft to deliver simplified network security for the modern and increasingly remote and mobile workforce to joint customers. The flexible integrations will enable Azure users to have the ability to simply secure their cloud, network, and application access.

By utilizing Zero Trust and Software-Defined Perimeter models, Perimeter 81 ensures Azure users have secure, policy-based resource access with a cloud-based network hub. Now Azure users will have access to a variety of essential networking and security tools in a single platform, eliminating tool sprawl and providing a one-stop-shop for cybersecurity services.

Perimeter 81 integrations are:

  • Azure Active Directory (AD) is a cloud-based identity service for cloud, hybrid and on-premises environments. With Perimeter 81’s integration with Azure Active Directory, customers can quickly and easily secure access to on-premises and cloud resources, as well as web applications, through our authentication service. With a single management console, Perimeter 81 offers user-centric and adaptive, policy-based network access to on-premise resources, SaaS applications, and cloud environments.
  • Azure Sentinel is a cloud-native SIEM and SOAR solution that is known for its scalability and ease of use. Now that it can be integrated directly with Perimeter 81, customers will be able to enjoy smart security analytics capabilities and live threat intelligence across their networks and applications. Azure customers will find it simple to set up a Log Analytics Workspace within our platform and link it to their Azure Sentinel solution, providing them with a unified platform that includes a rich array of network and security functions.

“It’s crucial for industry leaders to adopt a more unified approach when it comes to cybersecurity. By joining the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association and collaborating with fellow members of the security community, we can lower the cost and complexity required to solve the biggest cyber challenges that organizations face today,” said Perimeter 81 CEO and Co-Founder Amit Bareket.

“The Microsoft Intelligent Security Association has grown into a vibrant ecosystem comprised of the most reliable and trusted security software vendors across the globe. Our members, like Perimeter 81, share Microsoft’s commitment to collaboration within the cybersecurity community to improve our customers’ ability to predict, detect, and respond to security threats faster,” said Rani Lofstrom, Senior Product Marketing Manager at Microsoft Security.
